well i last night my girlfriends grandpa gave me an old hudson if i want it i just havent decided whether i want it yet or not. it a 49 4dr but its missing motor and both doors and outer fender on the p***enger side. however it does have the front suspension the back axle and lots of motor parts lying in the back seats and all 5 wheels. The emblems and chrome trim is also in very good condition. So how hard would doors and a fender be to find or is there a market for orig**** trim parts for a hudson.

you can get doors and such, that's not the problem.
you need to make sure it isn't rusty underneath, since Hudson's are unibody construction.

  5. Check the rear frame rails from about the middle of the back door on. Particularly the kickup and just ahead of and around the rear bumper brackets. The doors will be easy, the fender a little harder.

I paid $300 in late '06 for a 4dr roller, weak frame, no front clip, no motor or trans, all 4 doors on it and at least two extra inside. It had been on the road in 1996 and I didn't think it was bad enough to let them crush it.
