Anybody know this guy/seen this car? I've recently heard of someone driving a flat black T-bucket with a 318 Poly with 3 carbs riding on top, black headers, chrome valve covers, and velocity stacks in the Lawrence, KS area. I know a bunch of folks in the area with Polys, but never heard of this one before! Swifty? Did you drive all the way from Oz, just to see me? If so, you're too far to the left, man... I'm east a few more miles! ~Jason
Sorry Jason, not me. My bucket's parked in my mother-in-laws garage so I've got room for my poly powered 32-5W build. And I've got white rattle can headers, Edelbrock valve covers and the paint's not flat even tho it was painted with a vacuum cleaner back in the day. Maybe someone's done a clone LOL swifty
Wouldn't THAT be awesome? If the Prize Patrol ever comes knockin' at my door with an oversized novelty check, who knows WHAT might happen... ~Jason
I heard this from a guy in Parsons I'm buying a 318 Poly off of. He said it was his inspiration to build a poly-powered T! If I could track 'em down, there's lots of folks that would be interested in pictures of that. Looks like polys are picking up in popularity! ~Jason
