I've just been made an official dealer for my good fiends at Gearstar Transmissions and want to p*** on the incredible deals I can make to all of you. The reason I support Gearstar is that after working with them on many magazine articles I know how much farther they go in their building practices to ***ure total quality. When they rebuild a trans they replace EVERYTHING, unlike the other companies that only replace what APPEARS broken- this can still leave parts that will fail as soon as you install the trans. Gearstar has a record of the lowest returns- and EVERY trans ordered is specifically built to your exact HP, gear-ratio and tire height. Also their prices beat EVERYONE- and if not I will make it so. So let me know if you are in the market for a trans and I will get you a price. Everything from 200R4, 700R4, 4L60, 4L80, TH350 & 400 and the Ford transmissions as well- Gearstar builds them all and knows the strengths of each. They build them all from cruisers units to handle to 1500-plus HP.

yes. I'm going to run a 305, 3.42 rear and have a th350 that is supposedly good, but I'd rather run a 700r4 with a non ecu lockup. Can they keep it under $1200?

I believe they have a level of transmission that would work perfect for you- no problem.

Maybe- but I just wanted to make a general announcement before making specific ads in the cl***ifieds. I'm here to help and this announcement is more for people thinking about something in the future rather than needing something right this minute. Thanks Jim

$1295 with new converter and this is a FULLY rebuilt trans- not just a cleaned up junkyard unit- EVERY Gearstar trans is run in on a dyno so they are ready to go with NO break in time to seat the new bands. (again- I'm answering the questions here as many my have the same questions and this can answer them all at once) Thanks Jim

Yes, but this gets more expensive because you are dealing with a minimum of 55ft lbs of torque from a stock 455. if you want to go with an adapter (supplied) we can set you up with a bullet proof Level 3 700R4 with all the bells & whistles for close to 3K (normally this is a 5-6K unit).

Can get you the PERFECT converter if you can supply cam specs, weight of car, Tire height, rear gear ratio and estimated torque of engine. Thanks Jim

Can get one fully rebuilt with converter and installation kit for $1600- to handle up to 400hp. This is a great transmission that most people are catching on to and using because of its strength and nice gear splits.
