Ditto that wow great variety of cars and it looks like the general quality of cars was high.

Years ago I decided that I wouldn't take photos of cars at an outdoor show/run that had: time out kids, a show board in front of the car or trophies from past shows on display. That purple thing is hilarious though, glad I wasn't holding my coffee cup when that rolled up.

 

The big thing I noticed about that show was that a lot of people had the boards up in front of their cars AND they had ALL of their doors open! There were at least six VERY nice cars that I didn't bother to take pictures of because the view was almost completely obstructed by open doors or boards. I wish people wouldn't do that. Still, very nice cars none the less.

 

Just got back from reading a couple of newbie trashing, my Idea of what is good is better then yours threads (I love lurking thru those)
And figured that maybe somone could start a thread with pictures of Time Out Kids for everyone to vent their anger at. It might be fun. Like what Kirk does with his trusty side kick "the Fonz"

Just picked up this beauty for the 52...look for us at a car show near you!

 

My mom bought me a time out kid once. I looked for some pictures, but couldn't find any. It was the typical jeans and t-shirt kid with backwards hat. It even had a hotwheel car in the back pocket.
Anyway..... It was bugging the $hit out of my old dog so as soon as my mom left my house, I turned the dog loose on it. I think that was the best chew toy he ever had!!!!!!

 

I have been doing shows for over 20 years and could someone please explain to me the draw of these "time-out kids" and what the hell they have to do with car shows. I have been trying to figure it out and even people at shows that have them, can not tell me what they have to do with a car show, they just say that they look cute.
I am like Scooter, I will not take a picture of a car with a TO kid, in fact I will ask the owner to move them so I can take a picture...they hate that....there was a great looking 57 Chevy at this show and it had 2 TO Kids standing inside the engine compartment leaning up on the radiator....now come on......enough is enough

 

I saw that car too...and I'm the same way...the car is the beauty and if you put a bunch of stuff around it it makes me wonder what your trying to hide on the other side of the car by saying 'oh look here by these dolls' kinda thing. Then again the person who came up with those dang things are laughing all the way to the bank with his profits.

BTW, loved your car outcasthb, I was parked next to you.

Yep, proud to say that's mine.

About Edison...I'm working with the crew on getting some of our cars out there...I just checked the racing schedule and I race on the 4th so I'm sure we'll all be there.

 

Hey, I used to ditch cl*** at Edison and go visit my girlfriend at Marina.

 

WOW !!! Some great looking "bombs" and the HAMBers roadster is freaking hot as hell.
