My Ride Goes To Prom!!!

I know this car is a bit to new for a lot of guys here but it's the car that my boy chose out of our cars for his senior prom. In the little town of Hillsboro the prom prelude of dress's and cars is the big thing. It seems like the entire town is at this function. I often wonder whos guarding the bank?? Anyway there have been a long list of kids throughout the years wanting to borrow my car for this event but I promised my boy that he would be the first and the only one to ever drive this car to a prom. Most of the kids around here were driving new trucks and new cars. A lot of his friends said they liked his dads mustang as to which he would reply "It's not a mustang asshole it's a Shelby" This is the reason that I missed the HAMBercue as he will only be a senior one time,we hope, my entire day was consumed with preperation for his big day. My son and his date had a big time and that's whats important. It's a experience that they will remember for the rest of there lives. He made the comment to me that I wonder how many kids take the cool old cars to prom instead of the new stuff?? I told him I thought there would be very few. And there is a pic of a new car in the line with the engine running and the doors locked,that's what the new shits good for, that I thought was kinda funny>>>>.

 

Yep, you're right, that's a little too late model for this site.

But with that said, I love it! The '66 GT 350 H is my favorite Shelby; I really like that color combo. Nice ride, lucky kid!

awesome! when i went to my senior prom i was asking every guy with a kick ass car if i could take it to prom... but... it ended up me taking my daily grandam...
