Tripower carbs are a bit tough to find anywhere (cheap) but it depends on if they are large base or small base. Progressive linkage would matter on the same thing.

I'd have to see up close, but you could Google "Rochester Carb Database" and cross reference the numbers.

There is the same intake with rochester carbs and linkage on epay right now. The bidding is up to $400.00.

Rule of thumb is usually anything newer than '64 is large base, but there are those exceptions. Hope that helps. It's supper time and I'm GONE!:p

I'm no expert but this is what I've learned so far...This is the small base carb that they make the 3 deuce extended shafts for. I look for the backwards C shaped slot on the right side with the bolt holes through it. (exhaust p***age) They made a newer model with the same bolt pattern that will fit your manifold but it won't have this slot and you may have to make your own linkage for the drivers side.

Most of the progressive kits are made to work with the above carb base with extended shafts. Anything is possible but you'll find more parts for a carb with this base.

They made this carb with a side fuel inlet. I think about 1965 up to?. Check with all your Chevelle and Nova buddies. The earlier ones up to 1964 had a front inlet with the same base. These will work too.

The hard part is finding 3 that match at a reasonable price. They were throw aways for years and now they are hot.

This manual is good reading. It tells you all about the different systems inside the basic Rochester carb.

This is my old Fenton. I bought this one as you see it and sold it with the truck.

I'm not positive about the dates but I'm sure I'll get corrected if I made a mistake.:D I'm learning as I go also.

How late was Fenton in business? My Fenton intake takes Rochesters that were originally on a Chevy 348 and I believe they're small base. Have seen any different from mine. Word of caution. Fenton didn't put a whole lot of material where the rear water jackets come up through the heads (same as front of course but no problem there.) I had to put a bead of weld along the bottom inside edge of my manifold to stop water from leaking into the lifter valley and down into the pan. Now I realize if I had bought Edlebrock intake gaskets I would have been OK. They have a lot more material the felpros and others I tried before finding the problem.
