Hey oldmuleskinner lets keep in touch so the Scrape Drive and the Road Block don't happen on the same time again. This really sucks. I wanted to make it to your show some time. We need to keep in touch with Breeder for the Rust Revival too. :)

  5. ....the Scrap Drive show was put on on the date it was because that was the only weekend available at the Boone County Fairgrounds in early June. If we get the chance to shuffle the date, we mite consider that., ...the fairgrounds has a pretty tight schedule of events goin on all year.
Maybe the Barons could consider a date change too, so that more people could attend both shows. ...just a thot,...let's keep in touch on this.

I'm right between the two of them, maybe I can hit both. It's also the same weekend as Billetproof Detroit which isn't too incredibly far either plus I've got family there. So many shows we could almost have one every weekend of the summer!
Thanks to all of you guys for organizing such great events. It can't ever be a bad thing to have to decide which event to go to. It just means we have to take lots of pictures of both events so we can see what we missed.

    Thanks
    Kirk

this is the kind of award that shows should have, if any awards that is. maybe some day i'll have something cool like this. welding some junk laying around together and then giving it to someone.

I had a good time at the Scrap Drive last year, but the Baron's show has been on the same date for the previous 2 years.

There is usually a post party in Plainfield, but I'm not sure this year since the show moved.

yeah, past 2 or 3 years. It's a great show. So is the Scrap Drive. Tough choice, but I'm going to the Baron's Road Block... it's a great cause and a historical location.

Hey good luck with the show guys. I hope the weather is good for everyone. I think the Rust Revival stirred up some enthusiasm for everyone.

It was just pointed out to me that the show info from last year's show is still up on the web, so there is some conflicting info out there. So make sure everyone you know knows that the show location is different. All the correct info is here

  29. Ummm...just got back from the Rust Revival.

I'm planning on being at the Scrap Drive in the morning, going to the Road Block in the afternoon and then over to the Voodoo Kings cruise night.
Blondie (a.k.a. the Wife) wants to check out dowtown Chicago and St Charles on Sunday...then back to home to gear up for Sturgis on the River (pre-party Wednesday night)

    But, then again I'm a "Road Warrior":D
