Oz........I know how to grind the welds on easy access places, but can you post a pic on how to tidy up the welds in the hard to reach places, say, in the crux of a "V" where the front guard and wheel well panels like yours meet. I can't seem to get my grinder in there without grazing the opposing panels. Cheers

The car is excellent in both looks and execution. What I would like to know is what you've decided on for the headlights? Will they be frenched within the 40 surrounds or how will it be done?
late to this thread but huge fan of the kustom 40 merc and OZ cant wait to see the finished version of your take on this body style. Hope you find away to incorperate some of the paint tricks used on the green merc man I love those scallops/stripes !!
