I am going to start a community for model a owners. I am trying to come up with ideas for the site logo. I was thinking of possibly using an old tech drawing as a background for the logo, but my partner thinks it would be better to have some sort of image of a model A. What do you guys think would be better? Does anyone have any drawing or artwork they are willing to submit?

    Thanks

  2. How about combining your ideas.
A sepia tone old time tech drawing background that has the center fuzzed out for a seperate backgroud of a color picture of a Model A. Transistion the backgrounds together so it looks like the color picture is coming out of the Sepia background---???

or picture your self on a boat on a river with tangerine clouds and mashmellow skys,----or something like that

Well the sites up (kinda) I still need to tweak it and add content as for the logo I used an old lubrication diagram I found in a book. Tell me what you think of it.

I think sepia tones would give more of an "old timey" flavor.
If you use the blue try making the edges of the screen look like its a well handled piece of paper, with wrinkles and dog ears and a couple of small tears, etc.
A few smudgy finger prints might add some patina too.
