Chris The car looks way too cool! And that tire/wheel combo is perfect. Keep up the good work brother! RGV
Bob, I just bought another pickup today to replace the 46! A real clean one owner 1951 Ford F-1. I'll post pics tomarow when I get it!
I got the new steering box finished up today. I actually had a brand new, never had grease in it rebuilt 2 tooth box that came with a tractor I bought once (the tractor was made out a AA truck). I figured it should go in the coupe, and I wanted to put a 37 banjo wheel in as well. Again, not a strait bolt on deal. I had to machine the end of the steering shaft to accept the new wheel, as a Model A has a larger diameter hole. I also had to shorten the horn ****on rod beings a model A steering colum is shorter than a 37. I painted everything and added some new nickle spark and throttle arms, hope to get it in the car tommarow
I got the steering in last night and all hooked up, eveything works as it should! Sorry for the bad pics
Thanks guys! The wheel looks way better in person, looks like it's been in there for 60 years, the pics are just kinnda fuzzy
Hey Chris where did you get your headlight bar? Did it fit right and are you satisified with it? Thanks.
It is a Vintique headlight bar. ***** to get on, but I think even a stock one would be with the fenders bolted in place. Fit good, but the rubber pads they sell to go under each end on the fender were WAY to big, look like ****! I havn't tried to truly adjust the headlights, but all in all I think the bar will work great!
Got all the bearing packed, grease and fluides topped off and decided to make sure everything work. It worked fine, backed it down the driveway and into the alley for some pictures. Now all I gotta do is mount the master cylinder and run the front brake lines, then I should be back to driving it

Man, it looks soooo....perfect! My banger is on the bench still...cracked a piston so I'm waiting on another set. So swamped my head is spun around. Have six cars being built at once, two shops in full swing. I've been collecting all the missing parts and things I want/need for my three cars. Have almost everything, so I'm broke. Hahahaaa. Need to buy the trans adapter for the 4 banger to V8 trans still...ouch. The head gasket alone was 150.00. As of now....29 still stands untouched. Keep up the good work!
Thanks guys, that roadster looks killer Dirtyest devil, my ultimate dream car! Wayfarer, my goal in the back of my head was to take it to that meet...if I can get a master cylinder braket made, installed, run the front lines and get the brakes bled/working then yes. I really don't want to rush anything, especially brakes, so theres a great chance that will not happen.....but you never know So, it's kinnda up in the air. I work pretty slow HAHAHAHA
