My buddy just called with a question I can not answer but I'm sure one of you can, he has a customer that wants him to install an S-10 5 speed ****** into his 1936 Ford 3 wnd, but the guy also wants to keep the stock Turq tube rearend (not sure why), I have heard that you can do this in a model A by using a 4X4 S-10 ****** (not positive thats true either just heard it somewhere). Has anyone here done this converstion ? or does he just need to can and spend the time measuring . Thanks guys Ill check back later as I have the flu and need to go lie down agian. edsel

Everything sounds cool but why not make it simple and use the rearend parts from www.HotRodWorks.com and the trans adaptor from www.cornhuskerrodandcustom.net Makes this easy.

Not yet, but I'm working on one that should be availible this summer. If your freind is interested, Have him read the other thread. Modifications are necessary, but I wouldn't "Hack Up" the crosmember as Willowbilly might do.

would it work on a 36 chevy truck tourqe tube. How much would it be to do the conversion. I want to run an s10 t 5 to or atleast a camaro t5 with s10 tail shaft. Please let me know.
You misunderstood, I would not do, but most of the S-10 conversions in stock model As do and the crossmember in the pictures does look to be modified too.
1st two pics above are Jeep T5 to V8. Next two are S10 T5 (4x4) to Model-A. Crazydaddyo will be unable to keep up with the demand for his new adapters!!
