North Alabama Sound Off

Anyone here in the north Alabama area.
I live in Decatur.

 

im 10 miles from the bama line..

 

Their are several HAMB members in north ala but they do not post often. Also we have several hamb type get togethers . the next one will be at the flying monkey center on siminole drive in huntsville on sat 24 may. its a tradptional car show with several bands .. the other one we have is the Haloween cruise always on the 4 th sunday in oct.. its our 6 annual at the Shrine Temple on Pulaski Pike. May be I will see you at the athens/ saginaw/ ardmore show... Bobby.............

I was just down there visiting. Looking around Huntsville, Gurley area-Keel mountain, down around Joppa and ashville. We spent a little time in Bear creek cabins (ft.payne) and Desoto state park.Looking to move down there one day when I get all my **** sold here and can move. The area in north Alabama is very pretty area, mountains and all, I'm getting tired of the LONG winters in Michigan.

 

I live in Albertville,Al and have family in Decatur. I'm about a hr or so from Decatur or Huntsville. Any of yall happen to have a set of doors for a 55-57 2 door post Chevy? lol Would love to actually see some folks around here.

Decatur here. I'm started building a another frame for the 46, the old frame is now retired - a hard 100k+ by me and 100k+ by k9racer that's not including all street racing it did back in the 60's and 70's before Bobby got it. Should have the plasma cutter running this afternoon and the new/ old rear suspension installed this weekend. Hopefully I'll be on the road for Bowling Green/HRR and Goodguys Nashville in June with it or the 57 chevy stepside. Y'all pm me I'm off this week.

Noccalula show in June is great Father's Day weekend but HRR in Bowling Green is always the same weekend.
