    here are some pics of my new garage/shop...its 40X50 four garage doors one 10X14...the rest are 10X10...and it has a 16x20 loft...

    yeah...its a project trying to move everything i have stored in garages all over town...but at least im going to have everything in one place

    I'm so jealous. I've saved those pictures for future reference for when I retire. That's exactly what I want. The garage will have the same square footage as the house.

    yeah we had trouble since our township doesnt like garages bigger than half the sq.ft of the house...our house is 3500 sq.ft...but we found ways around that...

    F'in sweet!
    Tryin to puzzle out the loft: I see the initial level in the stairs pic, but in looking for the window over the 14' door, I don't see in in the interior shot; does the loft go all the way across on different levels or something? I was wondering if that 'yard arm' (?) & pulley were functional vs. hoofing heavy items up that long run of stair.

    nope the pulley is just for show...my dad wanted it...the loft is only over the far left bay over the 10x10 door...there is nothing above the 10x14 we left it that way for the lift

    Oh man, that kicks my carports ***!
    I envy you, you non-southern-californians. That's probably worth what my house is here.. and that's about 750 grand..
