Well, its been a while since my last update. I've been working like crazy on this thing, REALLY trying to make the HAMB drags. Floors are done except toe board, quarter patches done, chop done, all the windshield assembly is done and works perfectly, it steers, rear panel is in, working on a decklid frame, and almost have half the car in bare metal. Since the ass end is from two different cars, making the decklid fit has been a real bitch. The quarters almost "hourglass" a little in the middle. So I have decided to build a frame that fits what Im stuck with, and then do what I have to do to make skin fit the frame. Inner fenders are next. Using '32 roadster panels. I just got a 46" wide front axle that I am swapping out for the 48" thats on it now. I think a little narrower will look better. Planning on firing up Hemi #2 in the next couple of weeks. Got it from an old timer who says it came out of his buddy's 62k original mile wagon. He swears it runs.........hope he's right! Anyway, keep your fingers crossed. Mark

    Mark -

The coupe is looking great. Had no idea you had made as much progress as you have. Can't wait to see you making passes at MOKAN.

Looking great, Mark! The narrower front axle sounds like a good choice with those wide-five adaptors. Can't wait to hear that hemi!

Did you already do the work on the intake, or is it still in Mock up?

And, for the record, I told you the scoops would look bitchin jest peeking over the cowl.

(Of corse, I had to look at Jimmy Whites Coupe to arrive at that conclusion.):D

Those are 1936 Ford headlights. I kinda have a bunch of '36 stuff going on this car.
