    funny, i just saw a restored huckster like that on sunday at a model-A show
    i noticed it because of the open car cowl with the cover on it

    Looks just like the doors I dug up a while back. They are sheetmetal over wood.

    yeah they are similar...hercules as far as i know never build car bodies...just truck bodies and later woodie wagons

    I, too, have 3 or 4 sets of those doors sitting in my storage garage. They all came off chevy trucks that I saved from my friends farm. Didn't know they were used on Model A's, too! :cool:

    hercules built a ton of chevy stuff in the late 20s - the 40s they even had a standard catalog of truck bodies for them....but the model a bodies there were only 10 or so built..
