Rolled in 'bout 130pm yesterday. Meet was great weather wise, except for rain Wed. and Sat. night. I think crowd was way down compared to past years. And I did sell ALL of the cigar boxes and it MORE than paid for the trip.
The highlight was meeting all the fellow hambers! What a great bunch of guys! Got to see the incredible pics of Mid-Century Crusier's 49 Merc. This guy is an excellent metal man!!! An aircraft mechanic by trade and only shaping metal for two years, he is amazing. I hung some HAMB signs up around my spaces and several guys stopped and introduced themselves. Thanks to all who stopped and visited. and a big thank you to Mike and James who I traded cigars for bar-b-q. Hope everyone returned home safely and has agreat week!

It was great to meet you and the others that came by or I had time to go look up. Damnit I missed TP and the fajitas. I apparently wrote his space numbers down wrong and couldnt find him. Wish I had more time to visit but didnt want to leave Kelly tending the space by herself too long. We left out saturday evening about 8:30. Heard there may be some bad hail so we headed for Bridgeport where were storing the camper in a covered storage vacility for a while then got a motel room. We made the rest of the 300 mile trip home saturday and arrived about 5 pm. I have 2 more weeks of work then I'm officially unemployed after 30 years at the same job. We will be moving to the springtown area in a month or two and living in the camping trailer till we sell the house here and buy something there. Then we will be much closer to the good swaps.
