That’s kind of way cool…I have all lights and wiring completed and don’t want to yank the AM radio out of there or upset the tube tray. New antenna installed, where the heck does the male wire plug in? the tube tray? or the radio? Can’t find the hole! there never was an antenna and there are two steel braided lines going from the tube tray to the radio. The radio lights up and everything and I want sound. Serious, don’t laugh.

side note: finally scored a front bumper guard setup. Wasn't sure if I wanted to add that and now glad I did. It'll work.

  2. Should plug into the radio body.I threw my original radio out some time ago but as I recall it plugged into the radio. If the radio still doesn't work after you find the hole, the ******** in the radio tray is the likely villain.Looks like a paper tube;an expensive and hard-to-find paper tube.

Thanks safari!!! I wasn't pushing hard enough on the hole I thought it was. First song **** you not...Lonesome by Hank, came right on. wow, hair stood up.

But. The push ****ons don't work sort of. I can use them to move down the dial, but can't pull them out to set presets. What do I spray in there to loosen the ****ons up? THANK YOU!!!

If it plays Hank Wiliams where it was set, you need to change the station why?

Be careful what you spray in there. Some of the 'new' contact cleaners and solvents will melt the "old" plastics. Probably can't go wrong with WD40. It works for ANYTHING. Just be sure the power is OFF when you're spraying.....

****ons have to be moved to one side while pulling out to set stations on most Delco radios.
