looks like the crew from s.ark is going to be small this year.
battery in my 53 blew up, everything else is broken and i have failed to get off my ass and fix anything. and money is short.
i think don is going and zach fromt-town may go but for now that looks like the long and the short list.
i really hate to miss it,mickey puts on one of the best events anywhere. those are the breaks i guess. everyone drink one for me and have an awesome time.

Thanks for the offer guys, I just hate to impose. I actually did do a little wrenching this evening, but did it on the daily driver. Something needed to get worked on and it made more sense to work on the one gettin daily duty. Helmet I was painting today will just have to take a day longer. Luckily, in know my customer don't read the HAMB!

 

Any of you guys mind making a beer run for Momma Gozt?

There's a beer by Budweiser that's only distributed in Texas... I believe its called "Zigenbock" or something along that line. Would it be possible to have someone pick up a couple of cases of bottles for us and drag'em to Dewey?

The BEST WESTERN / HOST HOTEL have a couple of NON-Smoking rooms that just came available. I told them to call me if they have an openning. Hopefully some of the HAMBers can use them.

Go to OKC then East on 44 to Tulsa. You will then take HWY 75 North when you hit Tulsa.


I think there must be a more direct way from Mount Pleasant. Isn't that dues East of Dallas?

Also, Murphy's has an "honor system" for tables. We stopped there a couple of years back and a lady mentioned to the large party that we were with "Oh, ya'll have eight people, we only have seven, go right ahead and enjoy your dinner" (using your best southern drawl).

 

Thanks for the info guys! I thought I was not going to have much fun while working in OKC but looks like there is plenty to do!

 

And for Saturday if any one wants to join me at the hitchin post (the bar in downtown dewey) I will will be doing a Budweiser promo there at, lets say 12:30...so the BUDWEISER is on me and I will have hats and shirts and other stuff

 

I guess I'll try to make it, since I sent in my registration in FEBRUARY!

 

Since you're in Norman, it will take you about 2.5 hours. North on I-35 to I-44 East. OKC to Tulsa is a toll road ($3.75, I think) then it's a straight shot north on Hwy 75 from Tulsa through Bartlesville, you can't miss Dewey - it will be worth the trip!!
