Model A bodies

I'm looking to piece together a 30 model A body over time and am looking for a good book or manual or exploded drawing to help me in my quest for parts. I have the Ford Model A Mechanics Handbook #1 and though a nice book it really doesn't go into ***embly of the body. Can this be found in volume #2?

 

I am interested in this too.

 

Check out the cl***ifieds... there are always bodies and parts for sale on here... sometimes can pick up the whole body for less than you would piece one together... at least save a bunch of time... I drive about 1700 miles round trip to get mine at the right price and condition...

 

If I remember correctly in the mid to late 90's,Street Rodder had a series of articles at Ron Wheelers place (*****in Products) where an entire model A sedan was taken apart and then re-***embled with new t-moldings and all..................I'm looking for the articles, and will post what I find. d.

 

That was the Wingfoot series, if I recall. I never had all of them at one time, but would like to be able to find them all.

 

That's the one! Wingfoot.........I've got them all......I'll bring them to work and have the lady here scan them, posting them as they are finished......that was a great series.....I miss the old StreetRodder build series. d.

 

I'd love to have some copies. I'm beginning a model A build. I'd like the opportunity to do some research before I begin.

Wow that site is great! Ya, I'd like to find a whole body but I'm holding myself to 300 a month for stuff and you can spend that on just a damn door. It's going to take awhile but thats some of the fun, right? Should have started collecting when I was a young pup and they were laying out in the fields.Thanks to all!

What were the dates of the series?

 

From digging around this weekend,the series concluded near the end of 2002, my car mags are ****tered all over the place,but I think I'm winning.
I should have them scanned and in a PDF format middle of this week. d.
