Finally got this thing together and now we get to debug it. Not many bugs just a few. And got to put the windshield in before we leave for the Stray Kat tomorrow. Crossrams are a ***** to tune I tell you what but someday we'll get it tuned. I'll update as we get it further along. Thinking about calling it Goldenrod but I don't know yet. It is the gold flat with tiny flake in it but its got too much shop dirt on it to tell.....See you guys this weekend.......

I generally dislike 40's cars without hoods and shaved running boards, but this car pulls it off with style. Very well done I would say.

Congradulations stockerhotrod. Drove mine out of the garage for the first time last week. It something you will never forget. Now you can look forward to the first roadtrip or first cruise with the friends.
What did you start with? Roller or Driver.

Thanks guys. The car was channeled and stuff a long time ago. I got it as a roller which was supposed to be a runner. So we started redoing stuff. Dusty Rods in Leonard did a lot of the work and I did some of it. I wish I had more time to work on cars but oh well. The intake is a Offy I think. The name was ground off and it was chromed before I got it. The Nicson breathers are cool but I can't find any filters for them. I am about to make some right now out of screen and foam but I hat that because of blow back fires. So if anybody has any filters I'll take 2...The engine is 283 Chevy power with a glide.. Next windows and then to the interior shop for a white and gold flake interior.
Heres a pic of the engine. we still need to paint the inner fenders and put some better hoses and junk on the engine we just used what we had laying around. In other words I forgot to order some stuff......
