I need to get a T-18 rebuilt, sounds like a carrier or input bearing. Don't have the time or space to do it myself. Anybody around the area recommended? Got to be someone here with the Sand Dunes - land of 4x4's, but man I can't find a soul. AAmco type shop wants over a grand with my new parts! Maybe I do have the time....... Terry
Not too far up the coast,,, Dan williams ( williams equipment/right gear and transmission) in south salinas 831-424-3717. Tell him Dave Lewis sent you... They do hd (semi truck/ industrial @ williams) and specialise in 4wd @ right gear.. Same building,same owner.. Good luck ;-)
They aren't hard to do... I have done several.. Used to be a big time Jeeper... Now it is just old cars....My shop is in Morro Bay.. Jason
