54 Ford 2door Flathead?

A friend called me about a 54 Ford 2 door. He says it has a flathead in it. I thought 53 was the last year of the flathead. Am I wrong? The price is right so I'm thinking about grabbing it.

 

if it's a '54 with a Flathead it's Canadian. Canada and Australia kept the flattie 1 extra year

 

i didnt know that pretty interesting. and the french hung onto the flattie for many years afterward. post some pics on the main forum so everyone can see (we love pics) and glad to have you aboard welcome!!

 

I remember seeing a Simca Huit (8) powered by a v8-60 while in Germany back in the 60's. A buddy of mine had bought it and I wanted it bad, but couldn't never make the deal.
