Were these the last of Mike Russell's collection? He had several hundred of them a few years ago and then started selling them off...... CB
Fantastic collection! The only place they'd look better is on running engines!! Thanks for sharing the pics, Flatman
I don't know who the guy was that Bill got them from, but he had been trying to get them for over 20 years. They will be displayed in the Speedway Museum one day.
Wow!This must be a dream! How can i sleep tonight? ............................................ Taildragger&fenderless
Was that the fella on EBAY? Had a lot of really cool intakes.....at one time there was an entire alotment of intakes FS too.....
I think Bill mentioned that at one time they were on e-bay, but the seller wanted too much for them I guess...well Speedy Bill has them now!
ive seen some rare intakes before but some of those i didn't know even existed!! looks like a V12 intake was in the collection also. thanks for the pics that will keep my buddies and i looking for even more names!!!!!
Glad you guys like the pictures...I wish I would have had more time and space on my camera to take more individual pictures
It`s a shame there not on running motors, but speedy bill`s is a good home for them. now he just needs 600 carburetors.
They came from a friend of mine who lives in Eugene Ore. I always wanted to see his collection, but never made it & found out two weeks ago, it went east & now I see them. By all means take more pictures, as that's the only way I can see each one now.
I didn't have enough time or camera room to take anymore pictures. I guess you will have to make a trip to Speedy Bills someday when they are on permanent display
I just got a big hard on.. Those are Awesome I wish people would run more crazy odd intakes on theirs cars... I really enjoy seeing these I would love to hear more history on them aaron von minden
I don't know the history on these. We just happened to pay Speedy Bill a visit on the way to the swap meet in Lincoln this past weekend.
