I was wondering if anybody knew of any spring shops around Billerica, MA, North West area. I'm thinking about getting the leaf springs under my truck de-arched for a few inches drop.

Also, does anybody know approximately how much it costs to have a set of leaf springs de-arched?

How many inches lower could I typically get with a set of de-arched leaf springs? What's the max they can de-arch them?

I figure I'd get them de-arched instead of removing leafs, because both ways will get it lower a couple inches, but removing leafs calls for a softer ride with greater chance of hitting the bumpstops... Plus I'd still like the beefiness of the original truck's suspension.

If anyone has other suggestions along these lines to get it a few inches lower (we're not talking about IFS and all that), please share!

    Thanks --Matt

why not buy a set of springs from Detroit Eaton Springs and get a nice 2 inch drop on it. Lots less work.
