They better watch out, the "Gathering of the Faithful" is gaining on them. All the Gathering needs to make them worry, is a killer band.....nah, I don't think a band is going to happen at the Gathering. And now a shameless plug. The Gathering of the Faithful has a new location for this October 18th. It's at Plum Corner in Rochester. The early Ford V8 Club of Cape Cod, has decided to have there own show on the same date at the old location on RT 6.
Hey guys, In a nut shell we grew out of Ralphs. Ralphs was our first love but things just got too tight. Last year the lot was full in about one hour and we had nowhere to park the overflow. Going back a few year the area surrounding ralphs was deserted so we could park cars in the warehouse lots adjacent. Last year the new owners of those buildings threatened to tow and sue!, so we needed to act fast. I will miss the diner as will the rest of us, Vincent was a very nice and generous host, treated us like rock stars. The new location is pretty cool!. Its hidden with lots of parking and will have the same alter boys feeling. Mark your calendars for sept. 20th!.
The Gathering of the Faithful supports The Alter Boys as they have always supported us. Go back to your roots. Attend both shows. The way it was, is the way it is. The "Gathering" moved because of insurance coverage. Don't be confused. There is only one Gathering of the Faithful October 18 (raindate Oct 20 ...CALL) at Plum Corner, Rt 105, Rochester Mass. See you at both shows. About that band, we are working on it.
Then turn down your hearing aid and let the rest of us enjoy it! haha Like it's been said, They're both fantastic events so you gotta go to both!

Hi Ray yes we'll still have bands. There's a stage inside the Vets Hall but we're hoping to have the bands outside as long as weather permits. We'll miss the atmosphere at Ralph's too. It was perfect. I for one would love to see a more informal cruise night started at Ralph's. It got way too crazy trying to squeeze a couple hundred cars in there for an all-day event. Ray, I just looked at the photo's from last year again.....man you guys take some good photo's! thanks for doing that!. this year we have a LOT more room for vendors as well, im going to try and pack the area with very cool vintage parts for sale.....ill keep everyone posted on the amount of vendors. That would be cool, we should all try & get together up there when the hot weather moves in.I was there the friday of the summer nats a couple of years ago & the place was dead. I always thought it would be a good idea to get together at ZIPS diner also with Matt , Luke & the RA's.great burgers there & hot waitresses!! jimV
