We rolled in early because of the weather that was coming. My youngest son Blake and I were together for a "Guys Day Out". It was pouring rain by 10:00 and we hit the swap meet for the last time around 11:00. We were on the road by 11:30 sorry for missing the HAMB meet and greet, but we were OVER it by then. Here's some shots of what we liked. It will take a few posts...but here they are.

The black 32 3W was a steel car with gl*** fenders ... and at a asking price of 55 grand ... was a decent buy IMHO. I did not like the filled roof but the car sit right and sounded good.

I will be surprised if it does not find a new owner ... it would have come home with me if I did not already have a 3W ... :)

This car was built by my step brother last year. I never got to ride in it but it was a real cool car.

Yeah...We should have stayed. We were soaked and ready to roll by 11:00 or so. I just HAD to go back over to the swap meet... couldn't live without that set of teardrop headlights off a '39 Chevrolet.

Is there going to be a HAMB get together at the Nashville Goodguys show? If not, we need to get one planned.

That little roadster is a very cool car. It looks like an old tube frame drag car that has been "Street Legaled". I should have shot some better pics of it. I love the turtle deck...It's all of about 12" wide between those big*** tires. My son really liked it too.

I did work when I got back, thank you very much. I got the engine and transmission out, the engine on the stand (alot harder than I thought) and the cab is ready to set off. I can't do all that by myself...and you're in Wolverine country. So you need to get back to TN. so you can help me get this truck done. We've only got 7 weeks to be ready to drive...
