Hey everybody! Just got back from the Hop, i have a few cool pics, but the thousands of cars, just belew my mind. I hope some of you guys got more than me, lets share them here. For those of you that dont know, Beach Hop our no1 event on the nostalgia hotrod calender, atracting upto 70,000 people. Not sure how many were there this year, but it was huge and great.

70,000 people in NZ? Now c'mon be honest there isnt 70,000 people in the country! Looks like a good run, I would like to check out some of them you guys put on but Im scared I'll run into someone who reads this...........
I wouldn't worry about it doc none of us can read..... Cool pics, good weekend other then my littest being sick !! hit a couple of the bands at least the Aussies can get that right, can't build a car with no guards but they can toss together a pretty good band
Thanks for the Pics! 1310 pre-registered cars with 95% being pre-1972 - plus hundreds more free loaders. 5 days of full on cruising (up to 220km on 1 day), fun and 20 great bands. Crowd??? It was huge.... over the 5 days it has been estimated that over 100,000 different people had some interaction with the festival. Not bad for a country of just 4 million people.... Noddy
