I decided to become a member of the HAMB.

Hey all,

I'm a girl from Nebraska who is a self-proclaimed "Good Ol Boy" and doing my best to break stereotypes and emasculating most the guys these days that don't know shit about cars. I don't own anything "cool" right now but my first car was a '65 Malibu. My hopes are to get a project car to work on myself and I've been looking at some of the older Chevy trucks, much like the one I have displayed here.

Well, I was at the Rockabilly Round-up there when the Rumblejetts played. I follow the rockabilly bands around town.

 

You two have definitely met each other - Blondie, xderelict is Dick, or Ernie, Ernie, the paint-huffing clown from the Haloween party.

Welcome from another blonde. I know where you're at with stereotypes, as I deal with "role reversal" myself. I'm the aspiring gearhead who wants to do it all myself and my hubby would rather pay to have it done. When we've been out with our Jet together, guys always approach my husband to fire questions at. He always points in my directions and says," You're asking the wrong person, she's the one with the answers."

Some of those over there in the car clubs are a Rag Tag bunch of Hooligans, I agree. All they want to do is have cools rides, drink PBR have get togethers. throw parties.

Don't fret, they wouldn't let me in either, something about being a cantankerous ole codger.
