I'm going to try to get the Survivor there this year. The Mad Fabricator Soc guys told me it would fit right in.

I'm going to try.....it IS nearly 50 years old, and some of it is nearly 80 years old so it will be real test !

 

WOW cant ait to see that one. Was the black and White from one of the State Fair Grounds shows? WE NEED MORE INFORMATION!!!!

 

As far as I know, the B and W was taken near my Dad's neighborhood near Detroit City Airport, sometime in the very early 60's, about '62. That was when he got home from the Army as a Beret. He looks in good shape, he's on the left with his hands in his pockets.

Sadly I wont be there with the truck. My funds seemed to have dried up....I'll still be there walking around looking at all the fine rides (including the mini-bikes)....Hopefully by the Pileup I'll have the truck on the road...

 

Anybody know what bands will be playin'???

 

The Clem!!!!! You plan on doing any Wednesday nights with her there this summer? I'll keep my eyes open for ya.

 

AJ, yeah, I am going to get toa few of those in the Clem. I try to hit a few things around here every Summer. They REALLY need to repave Gratiot through there though!

I live in Livonia. I am riding out in my 54 Ford Semi-Custom and a friend is driving his 61 Catalina Super Stock looker. I would love to have more cars toroll out with. I am going to run Telegraph up to Dixie Hwy.

 

The Road Devils and friends usually meet at the KMart on Telegraph RD at 8 Mile. I just don't know what time. PM Beatnik and ask him if he knows what time.

Yea, last year a few of us met up with the Road Devils at the Kmart at 8 mile/Telegraph and rode up together.

I haven't talked to anyone about it yet because I'm not sure I'm going to have the engine done for the wagon in time and If I don't, I'm staying home to finish it up.

LDNFAST and 62 wagon are Road Devils and the guys to talk to about it.

I might be there with a couple friends and their cars. A stude and a volvo. Looks like it could happen.

 

Washtenaw, Jackson, Munro, and Lenawee folks usually hook up at the McDs at US12 and US23 (Sam's Club area). I think we did 8 am last year.

It was Moose, Hoboy, Hippie6, Safariknut, and a few others from what I recall. Not a bad turnout. Court's truck is getting trailered up as we still don't have it assembled but we are thrashing!!

 

My dumbass forgot to get the day off work, but my boss is gonna cut me loose at noon, and I'm gonna head straight over. I can't believe how stupid I am!!!!

and I'm still waiting to hear from work about my vacation days.
