2008 Asphalt Invitational is Coming...

Yup Folks, its time to start putting out the call for entries for our 5th annual show presented by the Vultures CC. Its happening Saturday July 12th, at the Swiss Park in Newark, Ca. (East Bay Area).
If you don't know anything about the event, we focus on Quality over Quantity, with a limit of 150 pre-registered vehicles.
Spectators are free.
If you want to enter your car, its got to be 1964 or older, and not a total pile.

Is the BBQ Sunday an invitation deal? Saturdays are hard for me to get off, but I could probably come up for Sunday if that's ok. Where/when is the BBQ?

BBQ is put on by the Strangers CC at Kelly Park in San Jose-- No invite needed. Its a great time and a killer location.

Went to Gordini'd last night.... gave him the money for the booth... So make sure he gets it to the club.. haha... Can't wait!

Went last year and had a killer time.Took alot of pics.I will be there this year for sure.Be nice to meet some of you local people.My coupe wont be done till next year.I think my sedan has too much paint on it for this one..So I will just be a spectator again.

 

Just an update:

If you asked for an invite over the past few weeks, they've all been mailed out. If your just asking for one now, your probably a little too late. We only take the first 150 cars, and they have to have been pre-registered. (Hence the name "Invitational")

If you have an invite, and you haven't mailed it back in w/ payment-- DO IT NOW. Showing up to the show with the invite in hand does *not* get you in the show.

If you've mailed in your invite w/ payment to the PO Box, we have it. We'll be sending you back your window card next week. Stand by for that.
