On our annual trip to "The wrecking yard of lost dreams" we discovered this model we hadn't seen before and a couple more pics s.
There was a 32 or 33 plymouth 5w near here that someone had tried to cut down to a 3w. Don't you just hate hacks. That feild looks like a wet dream.
outstanding work..... cool idea really, if you got it right some have hey dobbs know of the cadillac stash, out mullen road crazy place man
I know where theres a model a coupe like that in a yard near here, I wonder if its the same one? I believe this one had a date with a dirt track, but never made it there.
Model A "hard top" coupe!! I can actually see their vision. Pretty cool idea. If you could make the rear quarter windows roll up and down, that would be a neat custom idea that I've not seen before. Was it for sale???
That is some amazing stuff. In the right hands you could really have some great things. I wish I had those hands. I suck at metal work.
what is the deal with that yard? does the guy sell stuff out of it? is it abandoned? more pics, more info. stuff like that peaks my curiosity! i gotsta know!
That coupe is a prepare for the dirt track battles that just never came to fruition. My guess-mid to late '60s.
I agree... It would be a fuggin' killer profile for a drag car, like an altered, or comp coupe, when it would be senseless to hack up a really un-molested body.
Still a working yard, everything is for sale. Didn't take anymore pics, the four of us pulled parts all day, got to sort and stow the parts. One more day to go, got to run. s.
So, is there an unwritten law that says people can't tell where these magic yards are? Seems like almost every thread similar to this has no contact info for the places. Just an observation.
