Basic is tough, but it all depends what you do. I went to ITB at Benning, and now I am a medic. Where did you go? It takes alot of balls to join the Military with what is happening in the world today. Congrats man!!
I did it back in 92, became a medic. 1st Field Hospital, 8/12 Mdn Regt, 3 RAR (Para), SASR Parachute School. Wouldnt change my service for anything.

Congrats. Were you the oldest guy in your company? Not being a smart*** but if your the age in your profile then that's even more to be proud of. I was 20 when I went through and most were younger than me.

ha ha, I spoke too soon. im currently in virginia at ft.eustis in aviation school. as soon as we got there, they took our laptops,and we had to send them home! luckily, ive found a way to use my phone to get on the hamb. I wasnt the oldest at basic, but close. its more challenging here, and ive also decided to go to jump school too! ill be back home in beautiful texas on thanksgiving day!
