put some paint on the savoy. it has got more of a satin finish since it has been sitting a few days now. just got home from the booth in this picture. will post more later this week when it's back together.
it's chopped 4" in the front and 6" was takin' out of the back and yes it is a 50 ford back window. those are stock '56 hubcaps also. here are some more with the outside stuff on. thanks
If someone were to tell me they were chopping thier 56 Plym 2 dr I wouldnt believe it could look cool, but that looks cool! Any plans to get it really low? Think that might work for it a lot.
they are not perfect and have some cracks. they were done with spray paint. also did the headlite bezels. just seeing if it would give it an " okie french job" lol thanks
Geez...You coulda had a Honda for all that $$$ you spent on that old car...quote from an ex-neighbor. My first car was a '56 Belvidere more-door in 1962...still like 'em and yours is the reason why. Looks great.
dupont imron polyureathane. paint and hardener was 95 bucks. also got a gallon of aceatone. mixed it 3-1-1. was told that it is slow drying paint. reason for aceatone instead of a reducer. i like it.
Looks real good. Makes the fins look taller with the lower roofline. Does it have functional side glass?
