Reposting info- Well, I got Ryan's full THUMBS UP on the use of the name "HAMB Swap" for the parking lot swap meet at my shop to begin May 17th at 8AM at SO-CAL Speed Shop Los Angeles, 517 Figueroa, Wilmington, CA 90744. I'm sure we have enough space for at least 40 vendors if we limit it to what you want to carry in and occupy a 10x10 space (fold up table and/or a blanket with parts- no gigantic displays or vehicles will be driven in). NO truckloads of parts and/or multiple spaces filled with unrelated stuff. Vintage car parts/hot rod parts and related items ONLY! No new stuff unless pre-approved in advance (new clothing items & magazines may be in exception if discussed). Spaces will be pre-registered for FREE.. PLENTY of easy walk-up parking for spectators and hot rods in front of the shop. Safe wide street where you can see a half mile in either direction- don't worry that your car or truck will be on some side street where no one can see it (and damage it). ALSO- we will have live music at 10AM for those looking to make a morning of it- then we will cruise over to Ricky & Ronnie's for lunch (cool location nearby, a car place with plenty of parking & great food.) OK- I just changed the price of vendor spaces to FREE! (need to get this thing rolling) Would like to have at least 20 pre-reg'd so we know there is something other than our stuff to come and see. No, you keep your money for what you sell- I was going to give a portion of the money I took in for spaces to the HAMB- but after NO ONE raised their hand as a vendor I changed the vending price to FREE! I will figure a way to give back- like if you vend maybe you can donate an unsold part to a HAMB auction. Sound good? Thanks Jim

If you don't sell your stuff that morning- I'll sell it for you- or ANYBODY else- in my shop in my consignment area- or let me auction it on "the site" and turn your dust collectors into cash. Has been working for others because you name your prioce and we get that or MORE. Thanks Jim
I'm gonna be out of town, but I am already moving stuff to the other side of the garage to take next time. Is the plan for car parts only? I've got some vintage Ford stamped tools and a few other items as well...just asking.
