Did anyone see the episode of Hot Rod TV where the 19 year old kid built the Traditional '28 roadster? It was a pretty cool episode where the basically showed the build from start to finish as best they could in a 30 minute show.
guess you havent been paying attention, thats Jordan also known as 5wbomber, a hamber and a very talented builder for such an age! im 8 years his senior and jealous as F*&% of his rides and building capabilities.

Come on give us the real story. By that I mean, did a camera crew just stop by the shop one day and say "we came to hang out and film you building a hot rod and by the way, we're going to put you on a national TV show if that's OK?" How did you rank?
no they liked me from another show, i was young so they wanted me to do a show for them in 3 months..............so i did it, no complaints, no going over deadlines, ect... so they really like me. i dont pat my own back either like there "other" shows....... building started in jan, ended april 26(last film day). you will be seeing another one in the future......
That's cool 5wbomber, I'm just jealous as ****, that's all. I what to see it so can anyone tell me if it's going to be rerun or can we get a DVD or what? Congradulations to a fellow HAMBer, good job and keep it up. Maybe you can teach us old dogs some new tricks.
Great show Jordan. And great build! What do you do with all the cars. Do you sell them? I noticed a Cobra replica in the garage in one shot. Mike
Jordan...........i didnt get to see the show, but congrads anyways...!! Any chance you have a copy you could burn me ?? I will see you in a couple of weeks. Are we still hooking up with you on the way to Santa Maria??We are leaving Friday at 5:30 am from Orange County.
I was wondering when it was going to be on, I guess I missed it this morning. I usually watch Hotrod TV on Thursday night at 12:30, I bet they show it this Thursday. I have been looking forward to see it. CBB
Saw the last 20 minutes this morning. Awesome build. you are very talented. PS wear safety gl***es, an eye is worth 10 fingers
saw the show this morning. you got some talent man, glad to see you taking that old school approach, pretty sweet. hows the finger
Should be back on tomorrow. You were ****in funny, Jordan! I thought you looked like you knew what you were doing and were talking about. Came across very good. That is the best car-build show I've seen so far...Hope they will do another one with you. Just curious, do you get paid for that, or not? ****, i'd do it for free, just to get on the air...HELL YEA!!!
Hey man great job! saw it this morning. A couple of questions though if you dont's mind. First in the show you chose a flat head, what type of rear end did you go with? Also what did the build cost you from start to finish? Just wondering that way I have an idea what a similar build would cost.
Caught about 1/2 the show this morning thanks to someone putting a post here on the HAMB that it was on. Very cool car and looks like a fun crew. Congrats, Gary
I'm with you on that *** part. Some of these guys are just full of themselves. Some are full of themselves while being talent-less hacks. I missed it, but if it re-runs, will someone give me a heads up in a PM? Congrats Jordan, and good talkin to ya last night
I saw it yesterday morning also. I was wishing my two sons ages 25 and 27 would have seen it. I think seeing another young person building such a nice hot rod would be inspirational. Hell it was inspirational to me. I wish more young people would build real hot rods and customs vs the so called rats and cobbled together customs in primer and blah blah blah...sorry, started to get on a soapbox =) Nice job Jordan. Can hardly wait to see that finger shift knob.
Great job on the build and the show. I was lucky enough to be home when it came on!!! It was kool to see you drop the axle, i guess thats how you done the one for HAMBANDY as well! You deserve the credit the show will give you. Good Job! Leon
There was a thread on here last week asking what type of car show we wanted to see on on TV? Well that was it! Thanks for a great show Gary
It wasnt wrapped cause its healing.its been a month now.....its getting better for shure! hey thanks for the comments guys, its cool -jordan
