One of my neighbors friends crashed into the side of my dodge late last night. Hit and Run. No one is home right now and I haven't talked to anyone yet but hopefully they'll cooperate so I can get it fixed. I know it's a long shot, but I thought I'd see if anyone knew of a good body shop in Virginia before I pulled the yellow pages out. I know it doesn't look that bad in the pics, but its beyond my abilities. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! Vince.
Vin, check with you AM's man. Most of us were tin-benders before we went in! When I was there, one of my buds made extra money on the side doin body work and paint jobs bro. Jef
Thanks for the replies. hot rod surplus lives in Williamsburg and said he might be able to help. Still waiting for my neighbors to get home so I can talk to them. Wish me luck.
Update. Posted a Wanted Add. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=266991 Thanks for all the help.
Update! I got a hold of the young punk that smashed my fender, took me awhile but I finally got some money from his insurance company. I went down to a local Hot Rod shop so the old timer there could take a look. He said that it would be quicker and cheaper to find a replacement fender than try and repair the one I had. I found a fender in Wisconsin and had it shipped via fed-ex freight. It's a little rough, but it's straight. Not sure why the trim was flattened out and screwed on?? I took it off anyways. Here's my dodge going fenderless. I really hope this never turns into a trend. Haha. And then the new one all mounted up. Body work is definitely still on my To-Do list, but it'll work for now. It sure does add some character.
