1965 F100 driveshaft questions.

    1st whats the length of a shortbed driveshaft?
    2nd..im ***uming they are one piece in contrast to the 2 piece with carrier bearing of the long beds..would i be right on that?

    Mine has a 1-piece driveshaft. But the length won't be the same as yours.
    Mine's a '65 f100 stepside shortbed. 250 I-6 w/ 3-speed, 9" diff. You'll have to measure the length for yours because of the engine trans combo.

    thanks.. i need some one with this combo because im cutting my short bed down and was hoping to have a number to get a shaft pre cut so the truck has limited down time..anyone else?thanks man

    about a month or so ago i kept it a two piece ,cut the rear driveshaft down and have put mucho miles on it and everythings working just fine.
