First off you do some excellent work... but can I be honest....

It need s little more out of the rear crown, as it doesn't follow the rear quarter windows well.

Not bashing you, I've only seen a few piece of your work and am awww struck.

    Its a 4 1/2" chop

and to Chadillac, criticism helps the next one get better. I am still fairly new to this and have a ton to learn, I am gonna look at it in person tomorrow and see if I agree, pictures can fool the eye.

Picture 2 deinetly looks better but I agree with chaddilac. Taking some of that crown out would do wonders for the car

A couple of relief cuts above the rear window, and leaning the window forward at the top another inch or so would do it. It looks great, the slanted B pillars work really well.

The first pic shows the crown. The second I just brushed real quick to show what it would look like without the crown. Third your work looks good and it looks like you took your time.

After looking at the profile and the relief cuts done to the '49 Business Coupe in the other thread I can see where the extra work will pay off in perfecting the chop. It makes we want to get one to cut up too. I haven't even plugged in my new welder yet.

i think the white paint and the ground out metal line make sort of an optical illusion. the first pic it looks a little off, but the second pic i can follow the top line a little better and it looks fine.

    does that make any sense?

    my 2 cents...

I agree with Brewsir. I think it'll look much better and have a better flow once the glass is back in. Nice job

I think that is an optical illusion within the posted pic. I like it as it is and agree the glass will tie it all together. Nice.

Boy I haven't heard that expression in a while! LOL... :D

Car looks great! I do agree with some of the criticism on the flow on the roofline though.

I am not sure it isn't pretty good the way it is. I would paint out the bare metal white and blue as close as you can and then take another look at it. If it needs any, I don't think it needs much. That is just my lame opinion and I am far from being an expert.

I like picture one better. I dont know why you guys find it necessary to cut up a perfectly good car, slamming it on the ground . scraping up the perfectly good roads, making all the girls scream and weak in the knees. Its just outlandish!:D Keep it up!

I dunno, I think if you take the crown out or down, it would look like a small head on a big body, coz you have made the catwalk a little longer.

I like it the way it is.
