Thought I would show off this winters project. Not your everyday cookie cutter hot rod in my opinion. All you "traditional" hot rodders go ahead and give me hell...:D

  2. Nothing wrong with that! You must have a heated garage.

I'd rather look at that then the latest turd on red wheels that someone pinches out...

Looks pretty good, but its not traditional... not the focus of the board.

It looks like a nicely done little hotrod to me. Like others I'd probably make a few changes but all in all I like it.

I sure like to color and it is about time that cars showed up that actually shine again.

Guess I am a glutton for punishment.I know this is not the best forum for this, but I like the H.A.M.B. and even though this board is very opinionated (I build more traditional rods usually) I posted it anyway.Besides if I don't get too beat up on this one who knows I may do another..If all I was looking for was "hey great job" I can get that elsewhere but wanted different views on this style just for the sake of argument.

I believe that the grill shell is what did or would have come with that cab minus the chrome. By the way does it have a hard top or soft top?

    Cajones AND talent! Great job.

  25. You're right there. The focus of this forum is the exact opposite of that thing. It shouldn't be posted here for any reason.

It would have been alot nicer had it been painted flat black with red wheels and a Mexican blanket for the interior, just like the everybody elses. Can't you think outside the box?

I checked the site you posted on the build of the truck. Man there is a lot of work in that truck that one doesn't notice at first look and it all looks to be first cl***. Nice shop too.

You know occasionally I like to do something different as with some of the people on the HAMB.Sometimes I like my burger with just ketchup and mustard, sometimes with mayo and lettuce, sometimes with a couple of slices of cheese. My point is SSDD is boring and bland.
