Ive been reading the posts on the 32 five window.
I picked up a chopped and channeled 34 five window, on a rolling ch***is, with registration and ***le for $6000.00. Good deals are out there but they are hard to find.

I gave you the positives, here are the negatives. The chop is crooked so I have to straighten that out. As for the door handles, someone molded in some mid 80s toyota corolla handles. I have already removed them and I am in the process of re- skinning the doors. The lower rocker portions were removed because they were going to put running boards on the side. Not the original kind, the kind you would put on a 4wd truck. Those have been donated to the local landfill. I will be replacing the lower rockers with stock panels. The frame had been sectioned in the back with a chevelle clip. I am looking for a stock frame or building a new one with some ASC rails. As for a motor I'm looking for a flathead to build. Anybody in Nor-Cal. got one?

For 6K that's a great start! Looks to be chopped about the same as my 34 5/w,-3 1/2"?
Those modern door handles cut into the beltline molding will be somewhat of a Bear to fix. Maybe a new firewall w/o the battery box is in order too? If there's no floor in it, you can unchannel it when the new floor goes in if you wish.

Hey, all those kids standing around: was this a High School shop cl*** project car?

Congratulations man. You deserve a medal for rescuing it from the previous owner. Uh Toyota door handles belong on Toyotas. I'm wondering what he's going to grab up and ruin with the six grand you paid him for this one.
