So we got the motor all back together and went to start it an the starter is not engauging so we sent the starter to the starter shop to rebuild and they can't find an armature for it and they will have to rewind it by hand... the bummer is it won't be ready till next week.. Any one on here know where I can get one REALLY QUICK???? i'm trying to get one so I can get the car running for our car show on Sunday... Thanks in advance... Evel

Good lord man.... I have a few complete starters up stairs. dont know if theyre any good. I could check with my rebuilder too. Got one in El Monte and one in Irwindale.
Just called and they said the would have to see if that could figure it out.. but it didn;t look good..
Ya thanks scott.. that would rule... I talked to Skratch earlier and he has an Olds one that I might pic up tomorrow and see if it will work.. Stay Tuned the Saga continues...
I guess not..it seem that caddy is caddy... It looks like Sloppyseconds is going to lend me 3 to try and Skratch has a Olds one.. So I hope that we can make it work some how while mine gets rebuilt next week... Gay.. I'm starting to hate caddys. Naw they still RULE hahahhahahahaa
I think my old Hollanders shows what armatures interchange. I"m at work and won't be home until nine to check though.
There is a guy in Burbank, I think it's Coopers vintage Cadillac or something like that, has lots of early Cad stuff.....
