Jalopy Showdown Meet & Greet Info

I am very much looking forward to the show (and the mud wrestling, right Johnnylonghair?)
I'll be rolling in sometime Friday in this:

 

ill be there in my 56 f100 and the 999 will be there with a fresh clutch, clean oil and a new filter, new tranny fluid, and a full tank of antifreeze. Have you ever seen a mouse build a nest in a water jacket of a block??? I just cant believe with 5 years of abuse and no freezeplug the motor still runs like a top. i was doing laps at the farm saturday morning in the mud.

 

Gotta love the 2.3 workhorse!

 

I'll be there but only with my 2 year old ankle biter. No cars are done, and she has a hard time reaching the pegs on any of my bikes.

 

Pocono Rat and I will get there around noon on Saturday. Looking forward to the meet and greet !!

 

I'll be up in the Buick on Friday night. 'Really looking forward to this year's Showdown!

And Travis- great news about bringing the 999 back to life.

 

I'll be there saturday, in a rental car(I have to goto Mass. on Monday for VW schhol).Do you guys know what the difference between a rental car and a Jeep is?.....There's some places I wouldn't take a Jeep.Anyway my car still has a lot thats needs done,but looking forward to seeing everybody.
I guess I'll be missing it after all, the wife is going in the hospital again.

I think Fatty Patty should make a come back this year as a contestant in the mud wrestling competition.....whadyathink?

 

We will be in the 32 and are planning on getting there Fri pm ready to camp, 1st time event for us. 4 days to go!

T-minus 2 days and counting. Got a bunch of stuff packed. Well, as much as a rumble seat roadster (less rumble) can hold

 

For those camping, don't forget your warm clothes, rain gear and extra batteries.
Looks like it might be rainy, cold nights.

Yes, speaking for myself, the gutter can be a step up. Any advice on the best time to arrive on Friday, for the fleas?

 

Other than the evening funs and games (read: fire, alcohol and naked people) Friday is usually a 'get there and settle in day' for the most part.

 

I've got plenty of wood.......

friday night im headed to baltimore for a concert, so we'll be there early saturday. Wont have the car though. i couldnt get the overdrive working in time to make a highway cruise.

 

what time does everything start? bands? hot laps?
only a few more days!

 

All we need is for the rain to hold out till we get there. No side windows in the Merc!!!!
