Weber downdraft on model A banger?

    I need to get a new carb set up real quick for my 29 but i'm not finding anything for sale :( - does anyone use the Weber downdraft that Macs etc sell? is it any good?

    A good idea would be to go onto Ahooga.com or Fordbarn.com and ask there. A fair few of the guys on there run them.
    I think the problem most people have with them is the look. They don't look 'old'. For a banger in a fairly mild state of tune, I understand that they flow quite well though, but I'm only basing that on what I've read.
    I've got an engine coming with one on (in a Tudor) but I won't have it for another week or so, so I can't tell you any more about them.
