We're getting ready to head out for Latimore and I thought I would do one more post. The weather is looking good for today, 70's and slight chance of showers. Start raining tonight into tomorrow, but taper off in the afternoon...but chilly, high of 60! Saturday is looking like no rain to a chance of a shower later in the day and high 60's...we may luck out again. Bring an extra blanket if you are camping, it's gonna be COLD at night!!!
The band has fallen out for tomorrow evening, but we WILL have the movies. If it is raining we will have them under the pavilion. There will be hot food and coffee. The local car club is doing their cruise night at the museum, and several vendors will be getting set up in their spots and selling (Jr has a circus tent of crap already). Sounds like a good evening to check out the museum and warm up. The metal shapers are still on for Saturday.
We took my trailer load of show junk up last night and the track and infield was surprisingly dry!! We had two inches of rain earlier in the week and everything is usable...we're gonna be O.K. no matter what. Everyone have a safe ride to the show and we'll see you soon.

Well, it's official, the A that was put together in hopes of running it at the Showdown will not be there. I'm being shipped down to St. Augustine, FL for a business trip. I'll just leave you with tantilizing pictures until next year when it will hopefully have some more "go fast" parts on it.

    Hey, anybody up there yet?

    Is it raining?

I just got home not too long ago, planning on heading out in a bit, however if it's raining bad up there I may wimp out and head out in the AM.

If I do leave tonight I'll be getting there in the dark, are there many lights in the area where things are going on?

Hey, Long T, Am I gonna see you there? I plan on leaving here about 4AM, My weather here says the rain will end 2 or 3. It looks good for tomorrow until late afternoon.
Blasting out with the T, Lancaster area for breakfast then on to Latimore.

No I won't be there. My daughter is moving tomorrow and I have to help. Wish I could be there. Maybe my back hurts too much to help move!

    Have a safe trip.

Yeah,Bill, you need to do the family stuff to keep them happy.
On the other hand, I'm bringing my son-in-law with me, So we both get out of the family deal that the rest of them had planned:D

Thanks for the link. That's funny that they would choose that station number.

Looks like it's clearing up a bit weather wise.

I'll probably head out of Baltimore real early in the morning...

I'm close to Hershey, maybe 20 miles east of Latimore. It started clearing this afternoon. Supposed to be clear most of the day with rain tommorow night.

47 degrees, not a cloud in the sky. Perfect day for a Showdown!
