I can help you out sometime this week. i've got the bed off my 65 to c notch the frame, flip the axle and repair the rusted out floor. Might take a day or two to get back to you though. Mike
interior... p.s this stearing wheel can be yours for 60 bucks shipped to your door or traded for a white one...
352 ...3 speed with overdrive...came with snazy valve covers and a nice exhaust with hedman headers....
and a floor shifter kit..and a bad *** very good shape 1965 mechanics book...all for 1200.00 bucks.couldnt p*** her up..even more so some of the heaps i looked at...later thanks. du$ty
thanks dude..any measurements would be apreciated...the only major rust on her is in the front of the bed floor..so two birds with one stone....im gonna cut her maybe this next weekend...so that would be super cool..unless i can find a short bed thats afordable and just cut my frame...thanks again.
Ok,sorry it took so long. I was supposed to be getting my bed back from the guy that put a new floor in it this week. Every day something has come up and I couldn't get it. So I'll be picking it up in the morning. I did get you the length between the cab and the leaf spring. 16 7/8". thats measured by hooking the tape measure from the body seam to the center of the leaf spring bolt. Hope this helps. I'll try to get you some bed measurements this weekend. Later, Mike
Dusty - Nice looking truck man. Sorry I never came by to get that dumb shoebox seat. Seriously I'm not sure when I'll get back down your way, so sell it to someone or trash it or whatever if it is in your way. I left the roundup early and forgot all about the seat. I love those "snazzy" valve covers.. where can I get a set? will they fit on my SBC? Aren't you gonna put a y-block in that truck anyways?
georgie..i love yblocks...but ive have had my share of bb fords too...my old 57 ranchero had a 390..i love these motors...more power! those valve covers make 5 extra horses each...so thats like 11 horsepower!!!
