Hey you didn't say anything about the dump that is out there when you are going to casmailla, and why it glows :) I also recommend that hitching post over the one on the 101, as for the best steak place, hmmm I would have to have you check out jockos a little bit north up in nippomo, about 5 miles north, right off the exit, about 1 mile down the road (not the take out place close to the exit). If you like pork chops, you have to try those also.

also for those of y'all staying at the holiday inn in SM, if Debra is the bartender, tell her mike from the mike & tom show says hi, you might get a little better pour ;)

Hey Bob, Kiwi Kev turned me on to this cafe a couple of years ago and we always stop there now, really great pancakes and omlettes. It's right down the street from Kevin's house and I know you know where that is at. Here is the address for breakfast:

If I can get the car all dialed in, I'd love to get in on this.

Looks like we are gonna be leaving around noon-ish to head up. Depending on how the drive to Santa Maria is at that time, we might par-take on this venture.

I've eaten there a few times. Sounds like a good deal. Close to the frwy, so we can jump right back on.

    logistics
    - will there be a set time for regrouping after arriving at Los Alamos?

like.......at 7:15 we will officially leave Los Alamos and go to Cazmallia?

or - after arriving in Los Alamos we will leave 45 minutes later

    something like that?

    Just curious

I thought the cruise was cool - just NOT enough cars taking part........
there were 1000 cars but only about 35 went on the cruise........
guess everyone was afraid they would miss something at the Santa Maria Inn.............

what was missed was burnouts and flame throwing in the streets at Los Alamos!

that was about the best stuff all weekend for me............

I arrived early to beat the crowds. (I take my meals very seriously!)
The Hitching Post kicked ***! When I told our hostess/waitress about the crowds that were expected to come she said she didn't know about it!
