I have another question. Since you guys are so good at this. Have another car I am almost ready to blow apart and start the finish work. The rad on this one has a core higth of 17.25" and the center of water pump is 6.5 from bottom of core. This only lets me run a 13" motor driven fan or two 9" electric fans or one big pusher. It two will have air. The rad is a triple pass alum. ment for a 55 Chev. It fits a 35 truck grill chopped 5". What combination do you recomend...Thanks Jim

I think the COOLING COMPONENTS is the best thing going. Its the one that has the fan mounted on a shroud. They fit on the inside of the radiator and pull air thru the core. I have had one in my car for 8 years and its worked great. if you use a trinary switch on your a/c it will kick the fan on when head pressure builds ,keeping from shelling a compressor. They may even make one that fits a 55 chev radiator or one you can modify to fit. Good Luck.
