bumpybigblok posted this pic in the official 55-59 thread and i fell in love with the smaller truck in the picture....PM'ed him and found out it had been dead since 84 and he doens't have any more pictures or much info to give at all on it other than the frame was Z'ed front and back...i really want to see some more pics of these trucks this low, most of them that i see are not nearly this low (or maybe this pic is just decieving because of the bigger one right beside it)....

It's been heavily sectioned, that's why it's so low.

If you notice in this picture of a 57, there is at leat 8" height difference in the front bumper and the rocker. If you look closely at the picture of the one you posted, you can almost see that the rockers are at leat 3" to 4 " off the ground. That is is about even with the front bumper mount. Also notice the difference in the rocker to bottom of door gl*** and bottom of gl*** to top of cab in each pic. My guess would be at least a 8" to 12" section in the main body/ behind front wheels and wheelwell obviously re-arched.

personally, i love the scoop sticking out the hood...

i'm not sure about sectioning mine like this one, but i am considering sectioning the bottom to make the rocker even wth the front because the rocker is about 3" lower that the front is now....if it were all level, the whole truck could be lower.....

i'm thinking about Z'ing the frame in the front about 5 inches and backhalfing it and setting it up at the height i want it at...

it already has a mustang 2 front clip in it, so if Z'ing it doesn't get me the stance i want, i will put in some 2" droped spindles....
