Been reading the "Wednesday Night at Bubba's" posts for some time and gettin jealous. So, if anyone's up for it, I'd be glad to host a regular Thrashin nite at my place. It ain't real big (1500 sq ft) and probably not as well equipped as Bubba's (I got 2 sticks, a tree and a rock - and some other stuff), but there's plenty of parking and I'm there late on Tuesday and Thurday nights anyway. Sounds like it could be a good time. Now that you've got a few more tools, I may have some things that need fixin. Starting with a hog feeder!! Sausage in the fall.
Mopar Bruce. It sounds interesting. I'm not sure what the original post about a "thrash" night dealt with. Could you enlighten me a little further as to the activities you envision? I'm near Monroe, just a howitzer shot away from you. I often think too many local rodders just BUY a rod and don't do enough "rodding" on their own. If that's your plan count me in.
Flyer, I didn't have a particular car in mind when I mentioned thrashing. I've got 6 projects sitting at the shop and I know there's a few parked in garages that other folks own that need some attention. I've got sheetmetal and a brake, welder, tools, motors, paint, parts and cars. I just want to work on some cars and trucks and it's always more fun with a bunch of folks there. J Man, when I talked to Dan on Friday and he said he had goats to shave, ..................... Now I know. I can also let you know when I'll be there on the weekends, if you want to come up and fry some metal into a car. I'm game!! Thanks, Bruce
Sounds good Mopar. I will come down sometime on Tuesday and/or Thursday - but not in the next two weeks. I'm thrashing trying to get a new engine completed for my altered and also readying the Willys G***er for the Thompson G***er reunion at the end of the month.
