So, I purchased my dream car a couple of months ago from a fellow HAMBer (Big Dirty). Those of you that know this '31 Coupe know the quality and how perfect this car is. I spend the last 6 months getting the car set up the way I wanted it and basically pulling 3am shifts in the garage after 12 hour shifts at work. Today I finally get to go to my first show with the car... it's a small local show but a great way to spend a Sunday. After a few hours, as i am getting ready to leave, the show promoter calls my name to come get my trophy (holy **** I have never won anything at a car show in my life and I won my cl***!!!) so I go to get my trophy and load it into my car... when I notice that some miserable lowlife s***bag has pulled my radiator support threaded rod out of its holder attached to the firewall and dragged it down and across my firewall and wedged it behind my motor, ****ing up my firewall in the process. I just stood there for 10 or 20 seconds staring at it before I freaked out. Nobody saw anything! How is it possible that someone can be such a miserable ****er??? If you are at a car show that is a major pain in the *** to get to, chances are your a car guy, so how the **** do you do some **** like that??? It has to be someone who never has and never will have **** and feels that therefore nobody else should either. Whoever you are I would like to extend a BIG **** YOU to you! Sorry for the long rant but I needed to vent to a few people that would definitely feel my pain...

That ****s. Are you positive it didnt vibrate loose on the way to the show? I had a problem keeping the ones on my old Coupe tight.

No apology for the rant is needed. Too bad you didn't catch the s*** bag that did it, you could have put the support somewhere into his body. Nice looking car and sorry for your misfortune.

That is a gorgeous car! I absolutely love everything about it!

It ****s that someone would do something like that, but there are people who are just the s*** of the earth - hell, I just wish someone had vandalized my trailer instead of taking it from me!

Muttley has a good question - however unless that car is LOUD as ****, I would think you'd have noticed something like that if it had happened while drivng it.
I'm sorry man - I feel your pain and know that there is nothing that makes me reach CRITICAL M*** faster than messing with my family or my car.

Wow that ****s when ya can not even leave your car alone at a show without even worrying about some knuckle head messing around with your car. It has happened to a couple of my friends also.
    your rod looks great though..

Actually it takes a serious lack of balls to screw with another guy's car.

That ****s major ***! It's getting to the point where the only places you can go and be trouble free are at a hangout with your friends. I'm slowly losing faith in a lot of places I would have liked to have taken my ride when it's done, but ya can't live in fear and murder is still illegal... unfortunately.

You Dont **** With Another Mans Women, ride Or Tools...you Just Dont Do It....its In The Books.

  23. It was probably some ****-less ****STICK, who was jealous of your gorgeous ride. Having a *****en ride is like having a REally hot GF or wife. All the stupid ***es who are too stupid to have a great woman, would rather cat call, and say dirty things to them, instead of have respect for them. The same goes with our rides, the worthless trash who only wish they could sink as much heart into their own ride, have to go around a **** other peoples stuff up. Hopefully someone saw sumthing and you will get to take that support rod, and shove it up his *** and out his throat!!! Not even my car and I already wanna help skin his ***** ***. I Don't mean to keep on, but Damn this is the kinda **** that really pisses me off. It is something I always worry about, even when not in a hot rod or custom, even in my daily drivers. Hell I went to the flea market one sunday morning looking for some goodies, and my wife and I come back out to see 3/4 of the drivers side of her SUV totally ****ED UP! from the drivers door all the way to the rear bumper, no note or anything, just a big ***ed shoe print where the **** bite kicked our car. Like if it were our vehicles fault for his or her stupid *** not knowing how to drive. Anyway, I am off my soap box I hope something good comes out of this for ya..

    Will

  24. I'm with Muttley. Prolly come loose. It just seems a bit too risky, and time consuming of a way to vandalize a car and not get caught.

Thanks to all for the kind words . If you could see the support rod you would see that there is no physical way for this thing to have turned into the ****ing pretzel it was, except if it was intentional. I wish it just would have come loose then I wouldn't feel so bad.
Has anyone had anything similar happen to them?

I got in a bind at a show for yelling at a woman for letting her kids climb all over a guys car. I did't know the owner but the kids were on his painted running boards. It turned out to be the owners grand kids.
